Parichehr Kazemi is an academic writer and speaker who specializes in the study of social movements, social media, and women's resistance in authoritarian regimes. After completing her PhD in Political Science at the University of Oregon, she began her current role as a Research Professor in the School of Communications at Panamericana University. Interests

Parichehr is interested in exploring the intersections of digital technology, politics, and social change. In addition to researching these topics, she is involved in activism efforts as a member organizer of her local labor union (GTFF 3544), a graduate student mentor, and women's rights activist. She is also an avid reader, traveler, and dog mom.
